Another TV series based on Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin's books is in the works.
The fantasy writer announced on his blog that his 1980s novella The Skin Trade has a script order from US cable network Cinemax.
Martin said he "always thought there was a TV series" in the werewolf story, which has been republished as a comic book series and graphic novel over the years.
Cinemax said the series will see: "A collections agent who happens to be a werewolf and his friend, a private investigator, discover a dark secret behind a series of grisly murders in their decaying industrial city."
However, Game of Thrones fans don't have to worry that Martin will be distracted from writing the next Thrones instalment as Kalinda Vazquez (Prison Break, Once Upon a Time) will take over scripting duties on The Skin Trade.
Martin wrote: "Kalinda's take on the story and the characters blew me away. She loves the story and the world, and really seems to get [characters] Willie and Randi, and her pitch to Cinemax was one of the most polished and professional I've ever heard. I love her enthusiasm, and look forward to working with her."
