The Dublin Book Festival is back next month, with over 100 new and emerging authors taking part in the four day event including Kevin Barry, Anne Enright and Donal Ryan.
The festival opens with an evening celebrating the launch of Winter Pages, Ireland’s new annual arts anthology. Seán Rocks, host of RTÉ Radio 1's arts show Arena, will be in conversation with its founder Kevin Barry, along with Wexford author Peter Murphy and Dublin novelist Claire Kilroy.
Kevin Barry's forthcoming novel, Beatlebone - a fictional re-imagining of John Lennon and the island he purchased off the West coast of Ireland in 1969 - has recently been short-listed for the Goldsmiths Prize for fiction.

Laureate for Fiction, Anne Enright
Ireland's Laureate for Fiction, Anne Enright, who was longlisted for this year's Booker Prize will be taking part in a discussion about a new anthology The Long Gaze Back with broadcaster Sinead Gleeson and other contributors, Christine Dwyer Hickey and Lisa McInerney.
In addition to a host of readings and workshops, literary fans will also get an opportunity to get advice and insights from some of Ireland's best known writers as Dermot Bolger, Aidan Matthews, Nuala Ní Chonchúir, Éilís Ní Dhuibhne and Donal Ryan who take part in a discussion at the Smock Alley Theatre.
The festival runs from November 12 to 15 and full details of events are on its website now.
