If you were thinking of heading over to Glastonbury for next summer's festival, forget it. The annual music event sold out within 30 minutes of tickets going on sale.

Standard tickets for next year's event went on sale at 9am this morning, but at 9.31am See Tickets tweeted that they were all snapped up. A minute later, the Glastonbury official twitter account confirmed that the tickets were sold.

Earlier this month, festival organiser Michael Eavis revealed the headliners for the next two years are already booked.

He said that four of the acts had previously headlined the festival, while two will be making their debuts at the top of the bill.

Glastonbury 2016 will take place from June 22 to 26.
