Jim Carrey has met with the family of his late ex-girlfriend Cathriona White at his Los Angeles home.
A source told People magazine that White's sister Lisa White visited the actor yesterday (October 1).
The source said: "Jim has been at his Brentwood home for the past few days and Cathriona's sister visited him last night for an hour."
Cathriona White's sister and mother travelled to LA to make arrangements to bring her body home to Ireland.
Another source told People: "It's a terrible journey for her mother to have to make. Everybody is hoping that her body can be returned home quickly now."
28-year-old White was found dead 8.40pm local time on Monday, September 28 at her home in Sherman Oaks.
Carrey and White, from Cappawhite in Tipperary, met on a film set in 2012 and have been dating on and off since then.
The 53-year-old actor released an emotional statement following the news of her death, saying: "She was a truly kind and delicate Irish flower, too sensitive for this soil, to whom loving and being loved was all that sparkled. My heart goes out to her family and friends and to everyone who loved and cared about her.
"We have all been hit with a lightning bolt."
White's family released a statement which read: "The family of Cathriona White sincerely regret the untimely passing of their beloved daughter and sister.
“Cathriona was a shining light in our lives who was loved deeply by her entire family. We will miss her terribly and at this difficult time we ask to be left in private to mourn our loss.
“There will be no further statements on behalf of the family.”
