British diver and TV personality Tom Daley has announced his engagement to his long-term boyfriend Dustin Lance Black.
The 21-year-old sportsman made the announcement in the births, marriages and deaths section of The Times newspaper.
The notice reads: "The engagement is announced between Tom, son of Robert and Debra Daley of Plymouth, and Lance, son of Jeff Bisch of Philadelphia and Anne Bisch of Lake Providence."
Daley and 41-year-old Black, have been in a relationship for two years and share a home in London.
Black is best-known for winning an Academy Award for best original screenplay for the film Milk in 2008. He is also a director, film and television producer and LGBT rights activist.
Daley burst on to the diving scene by winning European 10m Platform gold as a 13-year old in 2008 and then reaching the Olympic final on his debut at Beijing 2008, ultimately finishing seventh.
Tom Daley will represent Britain at the Olympics in Rio next year.
