The Irish Pub director Alex Fegan is back with a must-see new documentary celebrating the lives of 30 Irish centenarians.
Older Than Ireland features the likes of the oldest Irish person on record, 113-year-old Kathleen Snavely and Ireland's oldest man, 108-year-old Luke Dolan, and it's Fegan's unique way of marking the 100th anniversary of the Easter Rising.
Says Fegan: "We're approaching the centenary of the 1916 Rising and we thought, 'What would be a good way to mark that?'
"And the best way, we thought, was to interview all the people that we could who were born before that seminal date.
"We asked them to tell us their story from their first memory all the way up to their idea of the afterlife."
Older Than Ireland is in cinemas nationwide from today, September 25.
