Vanessa Williams is joining CBS’ The Good Wife in a recurring role as a love interest for Alan Cumming's character, Eli Gold.
The Scottish actor revealed the news while he was on the red carpet at this year's Emmy Awards in Hollywood. Cumming was nominated in the Supporting Actor in a Drama category.
The multi-talented Williams (52) has worked as a singer, a fashion model and record producer, but is probably best known for her roles in hit US TV shows Ugly Betty and Desperate Housewives.
