After signing up to make one of the most expensive programmes in UK television history, a possible new name for the Amazon Prime show featuring the former Top Gear trio has emerged. And of course it's rude.
The new show looks set to be called.....Gear Knobs.
Until now, there has been no news of the name since Jeremy Clarkson, James May, and Richard Hammond signed a reported €220 million deal to make a new car show for Amazon Prime over the next three years.
According to documents discovered by online site, Buzzfeed, it appears that Jeremy Clarkson's law firm trademarked the name Gear Knobs just two weeks before the Amazon deal was announced.
The various registrations reserve the right to use the words on merchandise, as well as in broadcasting and publishing.
Since confirming the Amazon Prime deal, the former Top Gear trio have been reluctant to reveal details of what fans can expect from the show which is expected to launch in Autumn 2016.

Meanhile the BBC are still yet to confirm the full presenting line-up for Top Gear, which will return with Chris Evans as host next year. Evans this week denied that his friend Zoe Ball was going to co-host the show, calling reports “hilariously inaccurate.”
However, reports that the new series will be broadcast live are apparently true.
