Justin Timberlake has boarded the upcoming nostalgia-fest that is the Trolls movie.
The singer has joined the all-star cast of the DreamWorks animated comedy based on the classic 90s toys, which includes Pitch Perfect's Anna Kendrick, Kick Ass actress Chloe Grace Moretz and The Grand Budapest Hotel actor Jason Schwartzman.
Timberlake will play a "hilariously hardcore survivalist who hides his surprising true colours" in the musical comedy, which will see Kendrick play an upbeat princess.
The popstar previously lent his voice to animated movies Shrek The Third and Yogi Bear.
Director Mike Mitchell's Trolls will concentrate on the origins of the big-haired dolls and is slated for released in November 2016.
