It seems there is still a lot of love for pop band 5ive as bidding for Abz' Best Newcomer Brit Award has reached a whopping €1.5 million on eBay.
While we are all partial to 5ive Megamix on a Friday, never did we think a piece of memorabilia from the band would be worth so much money. And if Abz' originally listing on eBay is anything to go by, neither did he.
The "poverty" stricken popstar, who now lives on a farm in Wales, wrote that he was looking to fund the delivery of some "topsoil and maybe some garden tools on the auction site, and unless he is looking for a pair of diamond encrusted shears, we're pretty sure the bill would come to less the €1.5 million.
The award was originally listed at €1.36 and Abz' reckons it would make the perfect centre piece in any home. He wrote: "No more awkward silences when people come over to your house!! This is a real conversation piece even if you didn't win it! Guaranteed 100% real."
While the price of the statue is racking up at phenomenal speed, some eager punters are more concerned with how the award will be delivered, with many hoping Abz will show up in person.
One bidder asked: "Could you confirm that if i win this award, (A remarkable achievement i must say) would Abz hand deliver to my house driving his tractor down my street while singing "Don't Fight It Baby". I adore this song, its my ALL time Rave4Fave..."
Abz' PA Anna responded: "Sure thing!"
Bidding is currently at €1.5million (correct at the time of publishing), with 189 bids made. If by any chance you've got some spare money under the mattress you've got until September 14 to make your own offer.
