Supermodel Naomi Campbell has been revealed as the new face of Newbridge Silverware.
The announcement was made at an event in Dublin's Merrion Hotel earlier today. Campbell will help the Irish brand to launch a new campaign and will be face of Newbridge Silverware for the next two years.
She replaces actress Amy Huberman as the public face of the jewellery brand in what is a considerable investment by Newbridge.
William Doyle, CEO, Newbridge Silverware said: “We are delighted to today reveal Naomi Campbell as the new face of Newbridge Silverware. As one of the most beautiful and recognisable faces in the world, Naomi embodies grace, style, beauty and strength and is the ideal fit for us. Working with Naomi, we want to take our brand to a new level and continue to grow our appeal both in Ireland and internationally.”
Speaking about her new role, Campbell said “For me this partnership is about making affordable, quality design available to style lovers all over the world. I look forward to working with Newbridge Silverware to help tell their story over the next two years.”
The famously stroppy model was previously engaged to U2's Adam Clayton in the mid 90s and has more often made the headlines for her antics off the catwalk including several convictions for assault, most famously striking her personal assistant with a mobile phone.
