Red Rock returns to TV3 tonight and stars Cathy Belton and Anthony Brophy can't wait get their characters back together.
The pair play Patricia Hennessy and Liam Reid, who were having an affair in season one of the soap and spoke about their characters at the channel's Autumn 2015/2016 launch today at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
As for the chances of them getting back together, Brophy says: "We certainly hope so, if our siblings stopped getting involved in shenanigans and various dark activities, we can get back on to the affair. Properly."
"It was nice and healthy and full-on, and going full-on in season one," says Belton. "We got sidetracked."
But the pair are also tight-lipped in terms of talking about specifics. "We can't say," Belton admits, before adding: "But suffice to say, there's a lot to get through."
"It's a work in progress," says Brophy. Belton laughs and adds: "Like any good affair, it's a work in progress."
