Mad Men star Jon Hamm is a big fan of British comedy and is set to star in an episode of Channel 4’s Toast of London.
Hamm is friends with Matt Berry, who plays the hilariously pompous actor Steven Toast, and will play himself. The American actor will apparently be baffled by Toast's refusal to acknowledge him.
Hamm is understood to have long expressed an interest in appearing in the comedy and in an interview with RadioTimes.com last year, Berry also revealed that Hamm "crashed" the wrap party for season one.
"He just fancied it," said Berry of the event, which was held at a swanky West End private members' club.
"He was downstairs and I said come up. Free booze will entice anyone, whether they have a million pounds in the bank or not."
