Louis Walsh has followed in Eamon Dunphy and Johnny Giles' footsteps by showing that he can boogie in a new Cadbury TV commercial, and possibly hints that he will make a return to The X Factor.

Last year Dunphy and Giles became viral sensations when they put in a toe-curling performanace in Cadbury's #FreeTheJoy ad campaign and the company are hopeful that the Mayo man will spark the same reaction.

In the ad Walsh dances around his kitchen, singing Baccarra's Yes Sir, I Can Boogie into a whisk. At the end of the short clip he answers a phone call and tells the camera, "I'm back".

Walsh will be back... but back to where?

Simon Cowell recently hinted to the Daily Mail that Walsh might be a part of this series of The X Factor, despite stepping away from his judging duties, "We’ll make him judge of the week one week or something... We’ll do Boyzone week, or stool week!"

Louis told the paper he had met with the person responsible for Eamon Dunphy's ad and "I said I loved it and if you are doing another one I will do it for you and that's how it happened. Then the following week they called me with an idea for the ad and I said what the hell"

He said "There is a bit of madness in me, definitely, and I don't like normality and I like the song and the video is out there"

Twitter went into overdrive after the ad premiered on RTÉ, TV3 and UTV last night.
