Caitlyn Jenner is reportedly in talks to walk the runway for Givenchy at New York Fashion Week in September.

A source close to the 65-year-old star told Life & Style magazine, "Caitlyn is in talks to walk the runway at the Givenchy for Riccardo Tisci show."

Jenner is said to be delighted to be invited to take part, but the source added that she is also nervous, "She feels a huge responsibility to the transgender community and is a little nervous about the backlash she could get by doing a fashion show."

Givenchy creative director Riccardo Tisci is a close friend of Jenner's stepdaughter Kim Kardashian having designed her wedding dress last year. Jenner's daughter Kendall has also modelled for the fashion house numerous times.

Tisci isn't the first designer to take interest in using the I Am Cait star as a model, with Victoria Beckham reportedly keen to work with the former Olympian. A source previously said of Beckham's thoughts on working with Jenner, "She thinks she looks absolutely stunning and desperately wants to style her and even include her in an upcoming fashion campaign.

"She is open to the idea of working with transgender models and feels Caitlyn's glamorous style Amazonian figure would work perfectly with her clothes."
