Jennifer Lawrence has been named the highest-paid actress in the world, earning a whopping $52 million / €46 million in 2015.
Lawrence, who stars in both the Hunger Games and X-Men franchises, earned $52 million / €46 million before tax in the past 12 months, making her the highest-earning actress in that time frame.
Despite receiving critical acclaim for her work, it is the first time Lawrence has topped the Forbes list. She did however come in second place on last year's tally with income of $34m / €30m.
Sandra Bullock
Last year's list saw Sandra Bullock named as the highest-earning actress with earnings of €51m / €45m, largely thanks to her turn in the Oscar-winning Gravity. This year Bullock has dropped significantly to 15th position.
Coming in at second place on this year's ranking, earning $35.5m / €31.5m, is Avengers: Age of Ultron star Scarlett Johansson.
Scarlett Johansson
In at third is Melissa McCarthy - whose comedies Spy and Tammy raked in a combined $355m /€315m in the global box office - with pre-tax earnings of $23m / €20.4m.
Chinese actress Bingbing Fan earned $21m / €18.6m, making her the fourth highest-paid actress of the past year, with newly-wed Jennifer Aniston taking the fifth spot on the list with earnings of $16.5m / €14.6m.
