Perrie Edwards broke down in tears on stage during a performance following her split from former fiancé Zayn Malik.

Edwards and her Little Mix bandmates were performing an intimate concert in America to mark their fourth anniversary as a group when things took an emotional turn.

During a rendition of their song The End, Edwards sang the line "No one can love you, the way I used to do" before bursting into tears. Her bandmates were quick to console her, as were the crowd of fans who began to chant "We love you Perrie."

Edwards has been putting on a brave face since her fiancé of two years reportedly ended their relationship via text message, saying on The Late Late Show with James Corden on August 17, "I'm good. We are having an absolute blast in America. Things are going so well, and I just wake up every day and thank my lucky stars that I have these three girls."
