The Sixth Sense and Unbreakable writer-director M Night Shyamalan is to attend the Irish premiere of his new film The Visit in Dublin later this month.

Shyamalan will also take part in a public interview after the premiere at the Light House Cinema on Sunday August 30, with tickets for the night priced €12.

The Visit tells the story of a brother and sister who discover that things are not what they seem when they are sent to stay with their grandparents in rural Pennsylvania.

The Light House will also screen Shyamalan's The Sixth Sense, Unbreakable and Signs on August 28 and 29. 

The Visit opens on Friday September 11.
