The trailer for Older than Ireland, the award-winning film which stars thirty Irish centenarians, has been released ahead of the film's opening on September 25. It looks like we're in for a treat.
Winner of the Best Feature Documentary award at the Galway Film Fleadh, Older than Ireland has been made by Alex Fegan, the director of the acclaimed The Irish Pub.
In the film the thirty share their life stories, from "their first pair of shoes, the thrill of their first kiss, from the magic of their wedding day to the tragic loss of their loved ones".
Director Fegan has said that making the film was a once in a lifetime opportunity, and promises that viewers would be "moved and inspired by the honesty and insights of these extraordinary citizens".
