The funeral of Cilla Black is set to be held in Liverpool on Thursday, August 20.
The funeral service will take place in St Mary's Church, Woolton, with Black to be laid to rest at Allerton Cemetery, the same cemetery in which her parents are both buried.
The Right Reverend Thomas Williams, Auxiliary Bishop of Liverpool, will officiate the service.
More details of the funeral will be announced in the coming days, with the family asking for their privacy to be respected at this difficult time.
The legendary Surprise Surprise and Blind Date host passed away in her Spanish villa at the age of 72 on Saturday, August 1. Paramedics arrived at the property in a quiet cul-de-sac around 6.00pm but could do nothing to save her. Her body was removed around 1.30am after police, a forensic expert and the judge in charge of a routine investigation into the death visited the scene.
Black, who was born Priscilla Maria Veronica White, was married for 30 years to her manager Bobby Willis until he died in 1999 of lung cancer, aged just 57. She leaves behind three sons; Robert, Ben and Jack, as well as two grandchildren.
Following their mother's death, they released a joint statement thanking the public for their support, "We are devastated by the sad loss of our mother, but have been deeply touched by all the kind messages of support from her friends, fans, the public and media.
"We would like to thank everyone, especially the people of Liverpool. The tributes and condolences have really helped us through these difficult times."
