Love/Hate star Killian Scott has joined the Victorian crime drama Ripper Street for its fourth season, which has begun filming in Dublin.

There are no details on the character Scott will play at present.

Also joining the Dublin actor in the cast are Shameless star David Threlfall, David Warner (The Omen), Matthew Lewis (Harry Potter) and Jonas Armstrong (Edge of Tomorrow).

Ripper Street stars Matthew Macfadyen, Jerome Flynn, Adam Rothenberg, MyAnna Buring and Charlene McKenna are all reprising their roles for the fourth season.

The show's creator and writer, Richard Warlow, said: "From our new studio set in Ireland, it has been a delight to watch this cast reunite and grow.

"As these new characters' lives take shape on the page, it is a daily inspiration to know that they will be brought to life by the most magnificent troupe of actors Ripper Street has yet assembled."

Series four of Ripper Street will premiere on Amazon Prime Instant Video, with the date yet to be announced.
