Former Westlifer Brian McFadden has announced his music comeback with a new single and his first Irish gigs in ten years..

35-year-old MacFadden, who left Westlife to pursue a solo career in 2004, tweeted: “Exciting news coming in next week about new single and shows in London and for the first time in 10 years………….Dublin. I’m comin home."

“A sneak peak from today’s single photoshoot. Taken from a computer screen,” he wrote on Instagram.

Since he put his pop career on hold, McFadden has taken part in numerous TV shows. In 2013 he and former wife Vogue Williams were runners up on ITV dancing show Stepping Out.

In 2014, McFadden co-hosted the Channel 5 dating game show Stand By Your Man alongside Laura Jackson and last year he began hosting ITV series Who's Doing the Dishes?.Earlier this year, he took part in celebrity talent show Get Your Act Together.
