The Apprentice contestant Stuart Baggs, who passed away on the Isle of Man last month, died as a result of his asthma condition, a coroner has found.
The 27-year-old entrepreneur was found dead at his home in the island's capital, Douglas, on July 30.
He took part in BBC One's The Apprentice in 2010 at the age of 21 and became a favourite with viewers with catchphrases such as "Everything I touch turns to sold" and his description of himself as "Stuart Baggs, the brand".
A statement released on Thursday by the Isle of Man Constabulary said: "Mr Baggs had suffered from asthma for many years and died as a result of his condition."
Inspector Michelle McKillop said: "From the reaction we have encountered during our inquiries it is clear that this is a tragic and premature loss of such a hardworking and visionary young man.
"We extend our thoughts to the family at this sad time and on their behalf I would request that they are now left in peace to grieve as a family."
Last week the presenter of The Apprentice, Lord Sugar, paid tribute to Stuart describing him as "one of the stand out characters" of the show.
