Former One Direction star Zayn Malik has called off his engagement to Little Mix star Perrie Edwards, according to reports.
US magazine People claims that Malik ended the relationship two weeks ago and the publication quotes a source who says: “She's [Perrie] been putting on a brave face as Little Mix have had promotion to do, but she's obviously devastated. Perrie's being supported by her bandmates, but she's really in pieces about this."
The couple have been together for three years and were rumoured to have bought a house together in London.
Perrie is currently promoting Little Mix’s new album, Get Weird, and Zayn has been recording and working on solo material following his departure from One Direction earlier this year. He recently signed a solo deal with record label RCA.
After he quit the boyband, Malik tweeted: “I'm 22 years old... I love a girl named Perrie Edwards,” he wrote. “And there's a lot of jealous fucks in this world I'm sorry for what it looks like x.”
