In her first job since giving birth to her first child in July, TV presenter Maia Dunphy will front a new new series for RTÉ about Irish media stars who are based in the UK. 

Maia Dunphy's Truth About . . . will air on RTÉ2 and will explore the cultural shift involved in her own move to London, beginning with two episodes, entitled Childbirth and Semigration. The 38-year-old TV producer and presenter says she plans to continue working with RTÉ while based in London.

In the course of the new series, Dunphy, who has previously fronted RTÉ series What What Women Want, will meet Father Ted creator Graham Linehan to talk about the enduring success of the clerical sitcom, which he co-crated with Arthur Matthews.

Dunphy moved to London last year to be with to her husband, the comedian Johnny Vegas, and she gave birth to their son, Tom Laurence, in July. 

She has been married to comedian Vegas for almost four years. Vegas already has an 11-year-old son, named Michael, with his former wife Kitty Donnelly.
