Birds of a Feather star Linda Robson has turned down an offer to take part in this year's Strictly Come Dancing, saying that she didn't want to become the "joke" of the show.
The 57-year-old actress said that she didn't want to embarrass her kids.
"You have to know your capabilities. I could not learn one routine," she said.
"I did Let's Dance for Sport Relief and I could not remember the routine and I had three weeks to learn it."
"I don't mind people laughing with me but my kids would be traumatised. I would be the joke one if I went on the show and I don't want that," she told the Daily Star in the UK.
Strictly Come Dancing will return to BBC One later this year.
