With Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation in cinemas now, Tom Cruise has confirmed a sixth film in the franchise, telling US TV host Jon Stewart: "We're starting to work on it now."
"We'll probably start shooting it next summer," the star added during his interview on Stewart's The Daily Show.
Cruise is currently filming Mena in the US, with Domhnall Gleeson among his co-stars.
The film is directed by Doug Liman, who previously directed Cruise in Edge of Tomorrow.
It is based on the true story of the late Barry Seal, a drug smuggler and pilot.
