Jurassic World sequel to be released in 2018

It's already proved to be box office dino-mite after taking $1.522 billion globally so it's no surprise that Paramount Pictures have announced a Jurassic World sequel for 2018.  

Co-writers Colin Trevorrow and Derek Connolly will team up again to script the new film and Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise their roles as Owen Grady and Claire Dearing.

Universal has yet to announce a director for the new project. Steven Spielberg and Trevorrow will be executive producers on the sequel and Frank Marshall will produce.
