Game of Thrones star Kit Harington was pictured in Belfast yesterday where the rest of the cast are currently working, fuelling rumours that he will return for the sixth season.
Viewers were distraught when his much-loved character, the honourable Jon Snow, appeared to be murdered at the end of season five at the hands of his fellow members of the Night's Watch.
However, many of Harington's co-stars and fans of the show have mused that he may survive the attack and return for the next season of the show.
Being pictured in Belfast, where the rest of the cast of the HBO series have begun their read-through for the next season of the show, is the latest bit of evidence to give fans hope that he will be returning.
Harington had been on a flight from London to Belfast with Tom Wlaschiha, who plays Jaqen H’ghar, one of the Faceless Men of Braavos.
It was also revealed this week that Dublin actor Eddie Jackson has been cast in the next season of Game of Thrones, adding to the show's sizeable Irish contingent.
Jackson's agency, Alex Cusack Management, tweeted the news: "Congrats to my man Eddie Jackson who has landed a role in Game of Thrones. Belfast this week and Spain in October!"
