Dublin singer Gavin James has said he is excited but nervous about supporting Ed Sheeran in Croke Park on Friday.
“I’m absolutely bricking it,” he admitted.
“I really can’t wait. I’ve been to a few shows there thinking I’d love to actually play somewhere that big.”
“I don’t even know how I’m going to be feeling beforehand. But I can’t wait for it,” he told the Sunday Mirror.
Sheeran previously tweeted that record labels were "missing out" by not signing James, which Gavin admits was shocking to hear.
"He’s a bit of a legend, isn’t he? Obviously I was absolutely shocked but it’ll be grand. It’s mad that he said that," James added.
“Someone at his heights at the moment, he’s doing three nights at Wembley – that’s a quarter of a million people he’s playing to in three days. Insane.
“One lad and his guitar, he’s so good. It’s amazing.”
