Joseph Gordon-Levitt is set to make a cameo appearance in the fourth season of the much-loved comedy The Mindy Project.
The Walk actor is set to guest star on the show in an episode based around an imaginary parallel life for lead character Mindy Lahiri (Mindy Kaling).
In the alternate reality, Mindy is married to a successful reality show producer played by Gordon-Levitt, Vanity Fair reports.
Will he be a better fit for Mindy than Danny Castellano (Chris Messina), her cranky but loveable doctor husband? We imagine not!
The fourth series of The Mindy Project will air on Hulu after being cancelled by Fox earlier this year.
A premiere date has not yet been released for the 26-episode-strong season.
