Director Judd Apatow and his Trainwreck stars Amy Schumer and Bill Hader are coming to Dublin for a special Dublin International Film Festival screening of their comedy next month.

The screening takes place on Friday August 14 at the Savoy Cinema, with tickets priced €11.

Written by Schumer, Trainwreck tells the story of Amy, a magazine writer and romantic misfit who falls for the subject of her new article, sports doctor Aaron Conners (Hader).

Gráinne Humphreys, Dublin International Film Festival Director, said: "2015 is proving to be the year of Amy Schumer, a pistol smart satirist, a Facebook feminist, a sassy screenwriter who has film friends in all the right places. She has clambered over her fellow comedic peers to ascend to the throne of this year's Comic Most Wanted, and the Dublin International Film Festival is delighted to welcome her - and I can't wait to meet her!

Next year's Dublin International Film Festival runs from February 18-28.
