Singer Sophie B Hawkins, best known for her 1992 hit Damn I Wish I Was Your Lover, has become a mother again at the age of 50.
US music industry website Billboard.com reports that Hawkins gave birth to her daughter, Esther Ballantine Hawkins, on Tuesday July 7 at the New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Campus.
The child weighed 8lbs and is a sister for six-year-old Dashiell.
Hawkins, who was implanted with her own frozen embryo, announced her pregnancy in February.
