Maisie Williams, aka Game of Thrones' badass Arya Stark, has told TEN that she has her ups and down just like everyone else and expressed her desire to make an "impact on this world".

"As my life has changed and I've found myself in this strange world having lots of Instagram and Twitter followers, and having a lot of people on the street that know my name and my character's name, and things like that, it is very daunting and it is very strange," she told TEN.

"I don't like to think of them as setbacks, but there are days that are quite difficult and there are days that I sit at home with my mum and say 'I don't want to be famous any more, and my mum's like 'It doesn't really work like that, you can't just not be famous, that's not the way it goes'," she added.

"I have up and down days like everyone. But, in the end, the positives outweigh the negatives, which is why I'm still here doing it, and there are so many great things I can do with this career, and not just stand there and be pretty. I can make an impact on this world... I want to go out with a bang."

The 18-year-old star is currently promoting the Always #likeagirl campaign, and also spoke to us about her most memorable day on the GoT set and how she doesn't like to conform to her red carpet look.
