Stage 6 is a flat ride of 191 kilometres, some of it on the wind-swept northwest coast of France, as the cyclists travel from Abbeville to Le Havre, two towns which were heavily bombed during the Second World War. Contador, Quintana and Froome are expected to be in the final shake-up this year. The recent successes of riders Thibaut Pinot, Romain Bardet, Jean-Christophe Péraud suggest that Gallic resurgence is possible on this summer's Tour.

Married at First Sight, 9.00pm Channel 4
There are now 15.7 million single adults in the UK so why are they not finding true love? Do modern dating practices mean that marriage and monogamy have had their day? Have British people forgotten how to fall in love? This new series asks if science can help to create a successful relationship and if the act of marriage itself helps create a psychological bond that leads to true and enduring love. Chosen from an initial pool of over 1500 applicants, individuals each seeking long-term love have been carefully assessed by a panel of experts in the fields of psychology, social and evolutionary anthropology and theology. Ultimately the show asks if science can help people to fall in love.
