Ted creator and director Seth MacFarlane says he thinks Ted 2 is less `"edgy and raunchy" than the first movie about the cuddly bear gone bad.
Seth told TEN that "I think it's a better film than the first one because it has more of an underlying story". He added, "I actually like this one is better story-wise. It's about something. When you have a character like Ted who exists in the real world but is so unusual, why not take advantage of that faux reality and explore it?"
Seth also told TEN about Ted's Boston-Irish roots and the filming of that scene with Mark Wahlberg.
