In a behind-the-scenes video Chris Pratt shot for the second season of Parks & Recreation in 2010, the actor predicted his casting in the fourth Jurassic Park movie, joking that Steven Spielberg had just texted him about the project.
In the clip, which is part of the bonus features on the Parks & Recreation Season 2 DVD box set, Pratt receives a text message and jokingly replies aloud saying, "Sorry Steven, I was asked by Parks & Rec/NBC to do behind-the-scenes.
"Which is to say, everyone else was asked and said no. But I have no shame as you know by the endless gift baskets. I'll have to get back to you later about Jurassic Park 4."
Pratt confirmed his casting for the fourth Jurassic Park instalment, Jurassic World in January 2014. The film was released on June 11 this year and has earned $1.259 billion in the global box office to date.
