The Libertines have released the first music video from their upcoming new album Anthems for Doomed Youth – see it here!
It was announced this morning (July 2) that the newly reformed band would release their first studio album in 11 years on September 4 and they have now recorded and released a music video for brand new single Gunga Din.
The video sees Pete Doherty, Carl Barat, John Hassall and Gary Powell on a lads night out, gradually getting more and more worse for wear.
The Libertines last studio release came in 2004 with their self titled second album, while their debut Up The Bracket came out in 2002. The band, who formed in 1997, then split in 2004 before reforming for the Reading and Leeds festivals in 2010. In April 2014 it was announced that they would reform again and they later inked a record deal with Virgin EMI for a new album.
The Libertines play Dublin's 3Arena on July 9 - tickets are on sale via Ticketmaster.
