Didn’t He Ramble, the second solo outing from Frames singer-songwriter Glen Hansard, will be released on September 18. The new album is his first in over three years and follows 2012’s solo debut, Rhythm & Repose.

The album was produced by Thomas Bartlett (The National, Sufjan Stevens), a frequent collaborator of Hansard’s, and Grammy-winner and former Frames band-mate David Odlum (Paloma Faith, Tinariwen).

Didn’t He Ramble was recorded in New York, Dublin, Chicago and France and features guest appearances by acclaimed American folk-roots singer Sam Amidon, John Sheahan from The Dubliners and Sam Beam from Iron and Wine. The first single from the album is Winning Streak.
