Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes has said he has an idea for a film if the decision is made to bring the hit period drama to the big screen.

The 65-year-old writer and actor confirmed that the upcoming sixth season of the hit ITV show would be the last, but he offered fans some hope that they would see the characters again.
