Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reported to have had a private meeting at Kensington Palace with Britain's Duke and Duchess of Cambridge on Friday.
Us Weekly, which first published the story, says that the meeting with Prince William and wife Kate Middleton took place after "months of coordinating".
A source told the magazine that the royal couple greeted the stars outside their Kensington Palace apartment, with Prince George also joining his parents.
"Everyone got on splendidly," the source is quoted as saying. "Brad and Angelina spent much longer with the Duke and Duchess than planned. They ended up staying for almost a few hours."
Jolie is in London as part of her work as a UN Special Envoy.
