It's all change at RTÉ 2fm as Eoghan McDermott takes over the coveted drivetime slot from Colm Hayes.
Eoghan is already a familiar voice to 2fm listeners and is best known for his role on RTÉ One's The Voice.
He described his new role as "a genuine honour" and said he's looking forward to "wooing the audience with my original beat poetry" when the new show kicks off in September.
RTÉ has confirmed that Colm Hayes will move to a new weekend breakfast slot.
The DJ took over the drivetime show, DriveBy, eighteen months ago as part of a new schedule which was rolled out at the music station.
Colm said the move to weekend breakfast "feels like moving home having done Breakfast for nearly 20 years".
