Paloma Faith is the hot favourite to replace Rita Ora on The Voice UK according to reports.

The singer is currently in negotiations to join The Voice UK after the show was forced to look for another coach when Simon Cowell poached Rita Ora for The X Factor.

A source tells The Sun newspaper: "They have been impressed by her forthright opinions and love her out-there style."

This is not the first time 33-year-old Faith has been offered a place on the panel, she was original asked to fill Jessie J's spot when she left in 2013.

At the time Faith said she did not feel confident enough to criticise others: "Yes they did offer me The Voice, but I didn't feel it was right.

"I don't like the idea of eliminating people because I don't feel confident enough about my own abilities to judge anybody else."

Meanwhile it has emerged that Ora was wooed by Cowell with a whopping £1.5 million pay cheque, use of the music mogul's private jet and a massive wardrobe budget.

Radio DJ Nick Grimshaw has also been announced as a judge for the next series of The X Factor.
