Downton Abbey fans were shocked at the end of series five when Tom Branson, played by Irish actor Allen Leech, left to start a new life in America, but now it looks like the popular character may be making a comeback.
The Daily Mail says the 34-year-old actor was spotted at the Brooklands Museum in Surrey, and various other locations, in period attire alongside other actors from the drama.
When asked if he was returning to the show at the BAFTA Film Awards in February, Leech said: "He's gone off to find himself, and find out exactly who he'll be. So whether he comes back in this season or next season or… we'll see!"
The cast of Downton started filming the sixth season of the show in March, with November being tipped as the air date for the final series.
