While promoting the Entourage movie in London, star Jeremy Piven told TEN that he feels the experience of working on ITV's Mr Selfridge helped with the big screen debut of his Entourage character, take-no-prisoners agent Ari Gold.

Piven told TEN's John Byrne: "After doing Mr Selfridge and playing something that's so completely different... I think that experience of doing a costume drama and playing in a different tone allowed me to go back 'in', play him with fresh eyes and invest even more into the character and find, hopefully, some different stuff in there."

"You're seeing a softer, gentler version of Ari Gold, and at the same time as manic and crazy as he's ever been," he added.
