Hard Working Class Heroes, Ireland's annual showcase festival and conference for new music and technology, takes place from October 1 to 3 in Dublin, and the call has gone out for musicians, bands and singer-songwriters to take part.
Organised by First Music Contact (FMC) in partnership with HMV, the festival has been a spawning ground for many of Ireland's best known acts including Villagers, Delorentos, Ham SandwicH and The Strypes, as well as HWCH 2013's breakthrough act, Hozier.
All in all, 10,000 Irish music fans and industry figures come to Dublin to experience HWCH events over the course of a single October weekend.
Applications for HWCH 2015 can be made through FMC's Breaking Tunes site. Log on to: HWCH.net and click on the 'BANDS APPLY HERE' button. Closing date for applications is July 16.
Early bird tickets to Hard Working Class Heroes 2015 are priced at €35.00 (plus booking fees) via ticketsolve.com until July 16, after which tickets will cost €45.00 (weekend tickets plus fees) and €20.00 (nightly tickets plus fees).
