Stephen Fry is due in Dublin to celebrate Bloomsday and he will be in conversation with Senator David Norris in Joyce's alma mater, Belvedere College, tonight as part of this year's Bloomsday Festival.

This meeting of Joycean minds is a sold-out event and will cover Joyce's abiding themes of love, sex, politics and religion.

Fry says of his return to Dublin, where he shot new period drama Love and Friendship earlier this year: “So much looking forward to Bloomsday 2015, when I’ll be sitting down with my friend David Norris in Joyce’s old school, Belvedere College to talk about Joyce, Dublin, literature and of course . . . the incomparable Ulysses.”

Senator Norris said: "What better way to spend Bloomsday evening than in Joyce's old school in conversation with Stephen Fry."
