Singer and actor Shayne Ward has filmed his first Coronation Street scenes as Aidan Connor, the cousin of Michelle (Kym Marsh).
Pictures released on Coronation Street's Instagram account show Ward having fun on set.
They were accompanied by the caption: "We think someone might be excited about their first day in work!"
Ward's "half-Irish" charmer is due on screens later this summer.
