Apple are reportedly in talks with Kanye West to exclusively release the rapper's seventh album, Swish, on their new streaming service, Apple Music.

BuzzFeed reports that co-founder of both Beats Electronics and Interscope Records Jimmy Iovine, now an Apple employee, has been attempting to work out a deal with West, whose fondness for Apple and Steve Jobs is well known.

Despite being a co-owner of rival streaming service TIDAL, negotiations are said to be "intense" between West and Apple. Rumours had circulated that the album would be announced and released last night as part of Apple Music's unveiling.

It is unclear at this moment whether or not Swish would be released like U2's Songs of Innocence, which was uploaded to 500 million desktops and iPhones without prior consent from the user.
