The forthcoming two-hour CMT television documentary Johnny Cash: American Rebel will feature interviews with son John Carter Cash, daughter Rosanne Cash, Merle Haggard and Sheryl Crow.
Ten of Cash's best-known songs are key elements in the documentary which premieres on CMT, marking the 12th anniversary of Cash’s death this September. The legendary country singer died aged 71 on September 12, 2003 in Tennessee, less than four months after the death of his wife, June Carter Cash.
